A low-maintenance trailing plant, the Peperomia angulata has deep green leaves with lighter stripes resembling beetles (hence the nickname) and striking red stems. One of our favourite's right now, adding a touch of something different to a shelf space. This one gets a nod from Kiki too as it’s non-toxic for cats and dogs.

  • Prefers bright, indirect light. It can also tolerate medium light conditions, avoid placing in direct sunlight as this can scorch the leaves.

  • Allow to partially dry between watering, then water thoroughly, letting any excess water drain away from the soil.

    Due to the delicate root system it is always safer to wait a bit longer if you are unsure, this helps avoid any root rot.

  • Perfectly happy in normal household humidity. Also enjoys higher humidity environments.

  • Non-toxic.
