Slicker than your average - this is one cool houseplant. It's long leaves with a lovely red backing and a striking silvery dotted pattern on the front. Also produces clusters of small white flowers.

  • Thrives in bright, indirect light. Significant exposure to direct sunlight will dry and scorch the leaves.

  • Let the soil dry out somewhat between waters. Ensure the soil is aerated and has good drainage to avoid root rot.

  • Loves high humidity, so mist regularly, or use a place pot on a pebble tray with water to increase humidity around the plant.

  • Toxic if ingested.
