A more compact variety of the Snake Plant, the mikado is one of the easiest houseplants out there to look after, and adds a great contrast to other more leafier plants in your collection. A good one for beginners as it can adapt to pretty much all kinds of environments.

  • The Mikado prefers a medium/bright indirect light, but can tolerate lower light conditions.

  • Water through, drain off and allow soil to completely dry out before watering again. Water around the soil rather than directly onto the leaves.

  • Does fine in normal room humidity - no need for additional misting.

  • Mildly toxic if ingested

  • Keep the leaves dust and pet free by wiping regularly with a damp cloth.
