Enjoys bright, indirect light. Brief exposure to direct sun can be fine, but prolonged exposure can scorch the leaves.

As they are a succulent, it is best to let the soil dry out between watering. It is recommended to allow the plant to drink from the base of the pot by placing it in a tray of water, this helps avoid the risk of stem damage where they meet the soil. Watering from the top is, however, generally fine.
If watering from the top ensure the plant is well drained and not sitting in water.

When you get your plant gently unfurling the coils and tease apart the vines. Leave the coils to hang for a few days before continuing to gently separate the vines.
